WHO WE ARE
Fratelli Bruno Delicatessen: Tradition and Quality
dei buoni salumi d’Abruzzo
Salumificio Fratelli Bruno was founded in 1979, the year in which Mr. Remo Bruno—the company’s founder and, to this day, its sole director—decided, after nearly twenty years of specialized study and professional experience in the industry, to return to his hometown in Abruzzo, Roccaspinalveti, and to start his own cured meat production, opening a small family-run business.
There were many reasons behind this decision: nostalgia for their homeland and its traditions, and the desire to rediscover and preserve—through their work— the history and culture of their forefathers. These values have always been a fundamental part of Bruno’s authentic, high-quality products: traditional Abruzzo cured meats, made just like they used to be.
With the arrival at the company in 1985 of Mr. Remo’s brothers, Carmine and Maurizio, and the simultaneous establishment of Fratelli Bruno s.n.c., the company took a major step forward, followed by an even greater leap in 1998, when—thanks to a significant investment—a new plant was built in San Salvo, fully compliant with the latest European regulations regarding hygiene and product quality assurance.
Today, Fratelli Bruno, with its full range of cured meats, stands as a staunch champion of tradition, authenticity, and quality, passionately continuing the journey it began nearly 40 years ago—a journey that has successfully led it along the exceptional path charted by Abruzzo’s great food and wine tradition.

What our customers say

Excellent, extraordinary products; a simple, clear, effective, and user-friendly website; and perfect shipping service. There isn’t a single detail that isn’t excellent. I discovered it a few years ago, and now every year I buy my Christmas gifts from Salumificio Bruno for my most important clients, who have really appreciated them. This year we also tried the cheese, which is just as good as the cured meats. All that’s missing is honey, and we’d be all set.

Good evening. For years, I've been buying your products every time I return to Dogliola, my hometown. I often stop by your store there. I recently tried ordering online, and the very next day I received your products in Como.

It’s an artisanal cured meat shop with a retail section; the entrance is a bit hidden. It was recommended to me by some agricultural experts. I, in turn, recommended it to some colleagues, and they were satisfied. They specialize in Ventricina. Ventricina is a cured meat from Abruzzo made with the finest cuts of pork; it can also be cooked to serve as a pasta sauce. The name can be misleading—no offal is used, and it’s a fairly lean cured meat. Whenever I’m in the area for work, I pick up some to take home. The other cured meats are also good. The staff is friendly and helpful.
